Privacy notice

Who we are

This website is run by Happy Solutions, a software studio based in Vietnam, at 75A Minh Khai, Le Mao Ward, Vinh City, Nghe An, Vietnam. In this notice, “we” and “us” mean Happy Solutions.

What we collect

We collect only what you send us and the technical data needed to run and protect the site:

• Contact form: your name, email address, what you need, the description of your product and your target launch date.
• Case study request form: your name, work email, company and what you plan to build or fix.
• Spam protection: when you send a form, Cloudflare processes your IP address to limit repeated submissions, and Cloudflare Turnstile checks signals from your browser to tell people from bots.
• Visits: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views on gethappy.dev in aggregate, without cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own.

How we keep it

This site has no database. When you send a form, your details are delivered by email to our mailbox and are not stored on the website. When you request case studies, we also send a confirmation email to the address you gave.

Why we use it

We use your details only to:

• reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and book a call;
• send the case studies you asked for and follow up about your project;
• keep the forms free of spam and abuse.

Under the EU GDPR, our legal basis for the first two is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. For spam protection, it is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect what we did before.

We do not sell your details, share them with anyone other than the service providers below, add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.

Who processes it

We use these service providers to run the site and handle your messages:

• Cloudflare: hosting, form processing, Turnstile, Web Analytics, and forwarding emails sent to hello@gethappy.dev (Email Routing). Cloudflare runs a global network, so your data may be processed in many countries.
• Resend: delivers the form emails from its Japan region.
• Google (Gmail): hosts the mailbox where we receive and keep the emails.

This means your data is transferred outside Vietnam and may be processed outside your own country. We use these providers only for the purposes in this notice.

How long we keep it

We keep the emails that contain your form details for 24 months, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• stop using it, by withdrawing your consent.

Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Vietnam’s law on personal data protection give you these rights. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
